a.    What is it?

The Rural Children’s Initiative is always working to better serve you and your family. Local evaluation is a process that allows for us to better understand what is going on in this area and how effective the services that the Rural Children’s Initiative. This helps to ensure continuous quality improvement (CQI). Your voice is important in this process and can be used to help your family and others get what they need and deserve.

 

b.    How is local evaluation different than national evaluation?

Local evaluation seeks to better understand the issues that really matter to you in the context of your community and surrounding areas. As opposed to national evaluation, local evaluation may sometimes feel more personal because of the level of participation that you may take.
